"Take My Hand, Precious Lord" (aka "Precious Lord, Take My Hand") is a gospel song. The lyrics were written by Rev. Thomas A. Dorsey (1899–1993), and the melody by George Nelson Allen (1812–1877).
2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray,
and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways;
then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin,
and will heal their land.
Pray for America!

Christian Music - Jason Crabb - I'll Take Jesus
As they gambled for the robe He wore
They chose a worldly trail
And not thinking about eternity
As the soldiers drove the nails
Will we learn from what they've done
Or make the same mistake
Me or the world my child
Which one will you take
I'll take Jesus, I'll take Jesus
I've tried those worldly pleasures and they failed
When you see the gates of Heaven
And you hear the Master say
Me or the world my child
Which one will you take
They chose a worldly trail
And not thinking about eternity
As the soldiers drove the nails
Will we learn from what they've done
Or make the same mistake
Me or the world my child
Which one will you take
I'll take Jesus, I'll take Jesus
I've tried those worldly pleasures and they failed
When you see the gates of Heaven
And you hear the Master say
Me or the world my child
Which one will you take

Christian Music - Jason Crabb - Sweet Beulah Land
I'm kind of homesick for a country
to which I've never been before.
No sad goodbyes will there be spoken,
And time won't matter anymore
Beulah Land I'm longing for you,
and someday on thee I'll stand.
There my home shall be eternal.
Beulah Land... sweet Beulah Land
I'm looking now across that river
to where my faith is gonna end in sight.
Theres just a few more days to labor,
Then I'll take, my heavenly flight
Beulah Land I'm longing for you,
and someday on thee I'll stand.
There my home shall be eternal.
Beulah Land, Sweet Beulah land
to which I've never been before.
No sad goodbyes will there be spoken,
And time won't matter anymore
Beulah Land I'm longing for you,
and someday on thee I'll stand.
There my home shall be eternal.

Christian Music - Jason Crabb - I Sure Miss You
Remembering Moms that are with our Lord and Savior
If life could only bring again, the days I took for granted when
To hear your voice was just a call away
Oh what I'd give for just some time, to say the things that slipped my mind
There's so much now I'd really like to say
But I can never go back when we did the things we did back then
I'll store those precious memories in my mind
I'll take what you've instilled in me; I'll try to be all I can be
And walk the path that you have left behind
I sure miss you; life will never be the same with you not here
Each passing day has brought much pain
But with God's grace my strength remains
I sure miss you, but heaven's sweeter with you there
The little things that seemed so small are now gold in a memory vault
I cherish every one I have of you
Now I can see and recognize the part you played to shape my life
I often see you in the things I do
In God's design and master plan He saw the hurting hearts of man
As we would say goodbye to those so dear
So with our family and friends we'll be together once again
We'll view all heaven's splendor hand in hand
If life could only bring again, the days I took for granted when
To hear your voice was just a call away
Oh what I'd give for just some time, to say the things that slipped my mind
There's so much now I'd really like to say
But I can never go back when we did the things we did back then

Christian Music - Jason Crabb - Unclouded Day
Spend half your life doing any one thing, and at some point, you’re bound to question whether or not that one thing was the right thing.
For Jason Crabb, longtime powerhouse lead vocalist for The Crabb Family, that has never been a question.
With a soulful, unforgettable voice like his, the ‘right thing’ was always a given. He was born to sing. Baptized in a God-given talent pool, weaned on the hymnal and mentored by Bill Gaither himself, Jason Crabb hit the road at age 14 and, alongside his family, has pursued his calling full-throttle ever since.
He’s performed at Carnegie Hall, become a ‘fan favorite’ at the Grand Ole Opry, appeared regularly on the Gaither Homecoming Series videos, and was honored to sing for the Rev. Billy Graham’s farewell crusade in New York City. His voice has echoed in churches great and small at home in the U.S. and around the world.

Hymns of the Church - Jason Crabb - Take My Hand Precious Lord
"Take My Hand, Precious Lord" (aka "Precious Lord, Take My Hand") is a gospel song.
The lyrics were written by Rev. Thomas A. Dorsey (1899–1993), and the melody by George Nelson Allen (1812–1877).
It was Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s favorite song, and he often invited gospel singer Mahalia Jackson to sing it at civil rights rallies to inspire the crowds; at his request she sang it at his funeral in April 1968.

Gospel Music - Jason Crabb - Why Me
Musician, author, actor, host…Rarely, if ever, has the Christian music industry, or the entertainment industry as a whole, been privy to such a broadly and deeply talented artist. But despite the enormity of his talent, what truly distinguishes Jason from the rest is his unwavering humility and gratitude.Long-time friend and mentor Bill Gaither sums it up: “Jason Crabb is the real deal. I love his voice, I love his heart, and I love the unique way he
connects people to the hope every human being needs to hear.”

Christian Music - Jason Crabb - God On The Mountain
Life is easy, when you're up on the mountain
And you’ve got peace of mind
Like you’ve never known
But then things change and you're down in the valley
Don’t lose hope for you're never alone
For the God on the mountain is still God in the valley
When things go wrong, He’ll make them right
And the God of the good times is still God of the bad times
And the God of the day is still God of the night
And you’ve got peace of mind
Like you’ve never known
But then things change and you're down in the valley
Don’t lose hope for you're never alone
For the God on the mountain is still God in the valley
When things go wrong, He’ll make them right
And the God of the good times is still God of the bad times
And the God of the day is still God of the night

Christian Music - Jason Crabb - Sometimes I Cry
But sometimes I hurt and sometimes I cry
sometimes I can't get it right
no matter how hard I seem to try
sometimes I fall down
stumble over my own disguise
I try to look strong
as the whole world looks on
but sometimes alone I cry
I try to speak faith
never give the devil one inch to get in
I do worship and praise
let everybody know just where that I stand
on the back of my ride is a fish and a cross
for the world to see
I know God is good, all of the time
yes there's no doubt for me
sometimes I can't get it right
no matter how hard I seem to try
sometimes I fall down
stumble over my own disguise
I try to look strong
as the whole world looks on
but sometimes alone I cry
I try to speak faith
never give the devil one inch to get in
I do worship and praise
let everybody know just where that I stand
on the back of my ride is a fish and a cross
for the world to see
I know God is good, all of the time
yes there's no doubt for me

Christian Music - Jason Crabb - Midnight Cry
When Jesus steps outI hear the sound of a mighty wind
and it's closer now
than it's ever been
I can almost hear the trumpet
as Gabriel sends the call
At the midnight cry
we'll be going home
When Jesus steps out
on a cloud to call his children
the dead in Christ will rise
to meet Him in the air
and then those that remain
will be quickly changed
Oh, at the midnight cry
when Jesus comes again

Christian Music - Jason Crabb - I Saw the Light
For GRAMMY® Award winner and Christian music mainstay Jason Crabb, there is nothing like performing LIVE in front of an audience. On April 19th, 2011, his adrenaline was running high as he stepped onto the stage, following an introduction by friend, mentor and legend Bill Gaither.Filmed at Nashville’s historic Loveless Café Barn, this all-new collection finds Jason, along with his stage band, putting his own twist to some of the most popular Gospel classics and church favorites of the past few decades. The rustic venue at the Loveless accentuated the rich emotion and soul of Crabb’s vocal talents as well as the intimate, down-home charm that has made this “boy next door” a 14-time GMA DOVE Award-winning, nationally acclaimed communicator.

Christian Music - Jason Crabb - I Sure Miss You
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

Christian Music - Jason Crabb - Ellsworth
“Ellsworth,” a poignant story-song about the power of love and memories co-written by Neil Thrasher, “Ellsworth” is “the kind of song that sticks in your heart and reminds you how precious life is,” Jason says. “Everybody wants a love like that, and to see it in that story... well, it’s just a powerful thing.”
And that story is especially close to Jason whose wife’s grandmother suffers from Alzheimer’s, making it a disease with which they are all too familiar. “I knew immediately when I heard this song that I wanted to record it. I did it to honor Shellye and her grandmother specifically and hope it encourages many others.

Christian Music - Jason Crabb - God On The Mountain
Jason recounts his struggle to learn a new song as guest vocalist on a Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir live recording — the song they asked him to sing was the title track “I’m Amazed.” “On stage, I experienced the most profound sense of panic I had ever known. The music began and the lyrics escaped my mind. The church pews were full...everyone was pumped up and in position, from musicians to crew to the 260-member choir, but my mind was a complete blank.” Asking for prayer from Pastor Jim and wife Carol Cymbala, Jason was able to finally sing the song. Of course, he is most keen to tell how God has subsequently used that recording to transform people’s lives — from Angola State Prison in Louisiana to Billy Graham’s last crusade in New York City. Jason’s conclusion: “Even when weakness tries to overtake the plan of God, His plans and His favor prevail.”
