Honoring women who go above and beyond the call of duty isn’t a new idea. Just look at the woman of valor described in Proverbs 31. In Hebrew, it says of this woman “eshet chayil” — which is a Biblical way of saying, “Carry on, warrior!” or “You go, girl!”
