Symphony of Life begon met een spetterend voorprogramma. Martin Smith (Delirious?) stond samen met Pearl Jozefzoon en Kees Kraayenoord in het voorprogramma. Net als de hoofdact, Michael W. Smith, worden ook zij begeleid door de 56 strijkers, blazers en percussionisten van L'Orchestra Particolare. Na dit spetterend voorprogramma was het de beurt aan Michael W. Smith. Samen met L'Orchestra Particolare bracht hij zijn bekende maar ook onbekende nummers ten gehore. Hij zong aanbiddingsliederen zoals 'Agnus Dei' en 'Above All' en speelde een aantal prachtige muzikale stukken van zijn nieuwe cd 'Glory'.
