Jonah is told to preach to the Ninevites, but doesn't want to go.
2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray,
and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways;
then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin,
and will heal their land.

Children's Bible Stories - The Greatest Adventure - Jonah
Jonah, now an elderly man, tells his tale of how God awakened himone night many years ago and told him to go to the great city of Ninevah and preach repentance, as their wickedness and violence had offended God. Believing that the Ninevites should be punished, Jonah sets out on his journey. However, disobeying God's command, he goes by ship the opposite way to Tarshish. he is thrown from the ship during a storm and is swallowed by a great fish. He lives in the belly of the fish for three days and nights, until he prays to be saved. God repeats His command to JOnah, so he goes to Ninevah. The people repent and Jonah learns that those who repent are forgiven.
