As the tension built , Cece made one bad decision after another, leading to drugs and alcohol just about every night, and finally to faking her own kidnapping. Only then did she truly discover how to be truthful with herself and others. The discovery has had eternal consequences.
2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray,
and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways;
then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin,
and will heal their land.

Testimonies - I Am Second - CeCe Sims
With a basketball scholarship in hand, Cece Sims' college experience appeared to be secure. But when others saw Cece as a basketball player, that's not how she saw herself. She wanted to stop playing, to pursue music, but she couldn't figure out how to tell everyone. She wanted to quit, but didn't want people to see her as quitter.
As the tension built , Cece made one bad decision after another, leading to drugs and alcohol just about every night, and finally to faking her own kidnapping. Only then did she truly discover how to be truthful with herself and others. The discovery has had eternal consequences.
