911 - Shanksville Pennsylvania - United Methodist Ambassadors - Honoring those on Flight 93

Forty plane passengers became heroes on 9/11 when they battled terrorists for control of Flight 93. The hijacked plane never reached its intended target, presumed to be the U.S. Capitol or the White House. Instead, it crashed in a field in Pennsylvania. Since that fateful day, more than a million tourists have visited the site in rural Shanksville. Members of the local United Methodist church organized volunteers to give informal tours. A decade later, these ambassadors still share the story of what happened on the property many consider "sacred ground."
