100 Huntley Street - Childbirth - A Mother’s Cry – A Child’s Future

Patricia’s recent experience in East Africa seeing the adversity that pregnant women endure that are about to give birth –in this case a rural village with a traditional birth attendant (sort of a mid-wife). She also emphasizes the problems that arise when a mother dies and the devastating effects that it has on the remaining children. She encourages Canadians to inform themselves and get involved by supporting Crossroads Relief and Development. It means you’re saving the most vulnerable people in East Africa – the Mothers and children.
