But Fred Stobaugh will be the first to say he’s no musician.
He says the lyrics just came to him one night about six weeks after his wife Lorraine had passed away.
So he wrote them down and submitted them for a song-writing contest sponsored by a music studio in Peoria.
Producers say they were so touched they put the lyrics to music and produced it for free.
Fred and Lorraine were together for 75 years.
