“Do you want to be made well?”
This seems like a strange question from Jesus when He asks a man who had an infirmity thirty-eight years, “Do you want to be made well?”.
Some realize if they are healed, their lives will be drastically changed - in our modern World in the United States, it could mean loss of benefits and a return to the work force. It could mean people will no longer bestow pity and attention.
