HanSoul ("Hans") is a disciple with unshakeable principles affirmed through Jesus Christ. The Philadelphia native hit the scene in 1991, with the hit song Imagination that went to the top 10 on Billboard's rap charts (1991). Hans was the second rap artist signed to Epic/Sony records in 1991. He has also completed and album with Loud/RCA records in 1994. Though Hans experienced massive amounts of exposure and success, it was not enough to put an end to the insatiable pain, depression, drug-usage and confusion. In the year of 1995, during his darkest days he pleaded with the Lord Jesus Christ to give him a new life. Christ answered his prayer by compelling him to completely surrender himself and rededicate his life to Him.
